I created this piece in Raft River, Idaho, during the 2026 Sodfest celebration. With live music, food trucks, fireworks, and a beautiful sod farm setting, it was an unforgettable day to spend creating art. Raft River has always held a special place in my heart. Growing up, I spent nearly every Sunday there visiting my grandparents and gathering with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It’s a place of wide-open fields, quiet country roads, and endless night skies filled with stars that you can actually see because of very little light pollution.
